Resistance Training 101 is your introduction to lifting with confidence, clarity, and purpose. Designed as a small‑group personal training session, this class teaches the essential movements—squats, hinges, rows, presses—so you can build strength safely and sustainably from day one.

The focus is on learning, not exhausting yourself. You’ll explore proper form, smart progression, and how to use resistance training to support lean muscle (aka tone), stronger bones, and long‑term health. Every session gives you the skills to continue practising at home, helping you meet W.H.O. Activity guidelines and build a routine that truly lasts.

*Bring your own weights, bring your curiosity, and begin the strength practice that will carry you forward for years to come.

The only prerequisite for this class is the ability to get up and down from the floor with relative ease.

*Resistance Training 101 will require you to bring your own weights to class. This way you will have the equipment and the know how to complete an additional resistance training session at home. If you are new to resistance training I recommend a 2/3kg set of dumbbells. Sets that you can add more weight to are excellent for getting started, so that you can progress without the need to buy more weights.

  • Terms: Classes within a term work out at €15 per class - term lengths may vary.

  • Optional Flexiterm rate, additional €5 per term.

  • If the term is in progress and places are still available the term fee will be pro rata.

  • If the term is in progress and the class is full you can join the waitlist to be notified of the next available place (credit card details are required but no payment will be taken).
