Dancer and many other Yoga poses are often taught with a bind. In the case of dancer the bind is the hand and foot behind the body. This bind means that we are stretching in a passive way and that's one way to do it but there are others... what if we explored the movement of dancer in a more active way to encourage an active range of motion to compliment our passive range of motion?
