Body proportions can help or hinder a movement - if you ever needed proof you'll find it here! I have short arms in proportion to my torso so movements that require a pull through - such as seated one in this class is almost impossible for me without the bricks.
I highlight this, not so that we give ourselves excuses for avoiding movements but rather so that we explore ways to make the movement work for us, for our unique bodies.
As always awareness is key - when we know what is hindering us we can enhance the movement to make it work.
