Pilates, and Yoga for that matter, are for every body! So where are all the men?!

It might seem like Pilates and Yoga are just for women but that's not the case, we've just kind of taken it for ourselves and we are a little reluctant to share!

However the truth is that Pilates and Yoga are for all bodies! In fact Pilates was developed by the amazing Joseph Pilates, as pictured above, a man!

But it seems that some people, men in particular!, just need a little nudge - or in the case of my husband, who just recently joined our Monday evening Pilates, a large nudge 😉. I've only being trying to persuade him to join me on the mat for 12 years! Now I hear him telling the neighbours how he's doing Pilates and how great it is 😊, "never felt better", "back feels better than it has done in years", "abs feels more toned after 3 classes" and... "it gets easier every week" he says, which of course means that he's getting stronger.
